Childhood beginnings

After a childhood spent collecting insects and exploring nature, I successfully passed the entrance exam to the University of Veterinary Medicine in Budapest. As a pre-admitted student, I worked for one year as a veterinary assistant at the Animal Hospital in Hódmezővásárhely — a place filled with fond memories for me. The time spent there confirmed my decision to pursue a veterinary career and helped me through the challenges of university exams. It was also there that I met my colleagues Antal Rengei and János Szalay.

Early career and military service

After graduation, I was invited to join the Szeged Small Animal Ambulance, where I began my professional practice. This period was followed by one year of compulsory military service in Kiskunhalas at the Border Guard Riding School, where I served as a sergeant responsible for the health of horses and border guard dogs.

Professional development

After returning to civilian life, I continued my therapeutic and preventive veterinary work and obtained specialist diplomas in small animal medicine as well as in pigeon medicine.

Profession and mission

I believe that in today’s world, people regard their pets as family members. I consider it both my vocation and responsibility not only to provide medical care and disease prevention but also to educate pet owners, helping them live in complete harmony with their animals.

Personal life and hobbies

Like many veterinarians, I am also a pet owner in my personal life. Our home is shared with canaries, guinea pigs, and rabbits. I have always been drawn to nature, especially hiking and birdwatching, and more recently, beekeeping has also become a passion of mine.
