I have been working as a veterinary assistant at the Szeged veterinary clinic since 2008. I feel fortunate to be among the few people who still go to work with joy even on Monday mornings. Ever since childhood, I have loved helping others, and I continue to find my calling in this profession — as an assistant, I support the veterinarian’s work in a role perfectly suited to me.
In 2014, I completed my veterinary assistant training and was officially registered, an achievement I am very proud of. I continuously update my knowledge through professional training courses; for example, in 2015 I successfully completed the First Aid for Dogs and Cats course. I was also given the opportunity to lead the clinic’s puppy training sessions, a role I have been fulfilling for the past six years to help pet owners build a solid foundation for a harmonious life with their dogs.
At our clinic, we place strong emphasis on the importance of a healthy lifestyle and proper nutrition. For this reason, we provide professional dietary counseling (since 1987) and run a “Puppy Club” program (since 2003) to take full advantage of the early socialization period as part of our daily practice.
I have gained extensive experience and many memorable moments with my own dogs. Together with my mixed-breed dog, I earned the Hungarian Champion title. With my Mudi dog and my nephew, we achieved outstanding results at the European Championship, World Cup, and National Championship in canine frisbee competitions. With my German Shepherd, Nervus, we reached the IPO 1 level, including all the required health screenings for breeding.
When I’m not working with dogs, I enjoy spending time in the garden — lawn care in particular has become my favorite pastime.
